Will You Be There for Me?

Will you be there for me?
When I need somebody there.

Will you listen honestly
To all the probems I have to share?

Will you only let me speak?
And never utter a single word?

There are answers which I seek
But I can't do it when I'm not heard.

The life I have I do not own
But intermixed with highs and lows

Sometimes I'm lost and all alone
And I put on a brave face just for show

That is when I really need you
And all the comfort your presence gives

Just know that I am human too
So just be there when all hope leaves

It really means a lot when a friend understands

So will you be there for me?
When even I can't be there for me.
