Of Having Loadsa Fun

Yeah! I'm in London right now, can you believe it? The whole situation is so surreal: waking up in the morning to have a hot shower, walking along London roads, typing on a keyboard in my computer lab where I can't find the correct keys, ... I LOVE it here!!

Can't do much. Most of the interesting stuff I will e-mail it to you guys. Haha. Till then.

Of Seaportians and One Other...

My high school friends gave me a farewell party of sorts. It turned out to be 'insult Chong Zijian and get away with it' day. Plus the fact that I was a little tipsy, no thanks to my Dad who insisted I drank 'some' beer to get used to the life over at the UK. Darn. So, whenever I try to come up with an insult, my friends would just say: ' Zijian, you're drunk. Don't say anything' Darn again.

So, here's some sort of a tribute to the various eccentricities:

Soo, who wanted to hold my hand for that entire night (?)

Ashwin, who said will whack me up if I come back with an accent.

Kanason, who reminded me constantly how 'drunk' I was

Raynu, who is obssessed with One Tree Hill, so much so, we have to pull her away from the TV to play Pictionary with us.

Dewgem, who formed an anti-DoTa clan, much to the amusement of all the guys there.

Vincent, who gives very sudden hugs

Jonathan, who, damnit, grew taller than me with the help of steroids. =)

Kit Soon, who made me promise to bring him back a chick from the UK.

Calvin, who, at least, made it a point, every few seconds, to remind me that he was there because of me and to insult our E&E Engineer

Joel, who still remains as Joel.

Hock Lye, who will in the future become Arsenal's new Viera or in his words, a rubbish collector.

I want my pictures, damnit. =)

Of Random Thoughts

I blame my stupid modem. I blame the fact that stealing bandwidth is a crime and that the blogger format that comes up in my laptop turns out in Chinese! Now I am typing out this entry from a local cybercafe charging possibly RM 2.00 bucks an hour with half the keys on the keyboard missing its letters.

I finally got my Visa done! And I have finally received my money! Double joy! Both of which means only two things: I'm tentatively flying on the 16th!

I've been eating lots of mamak lately. To the extent that I am getting sick of it. Too much roti canai can and will get to your nerves. But eventually, it is for a good cause: I am just too lazy to buy frozen ones in London.

I hope I get to meet my friends before I leave. All of them. Some of them are planning some absurd stuff for me, i.e throwing me into a swimming pool or something to that effect.

Random stuff keeps popping in my head. Can't concentrate. Anxiety meet with excitement. Die lor.

I called a friend in New Zealand. Turns out it suffers from a time lag. It takes about 2 seconds before my friend registered my voice and another two for me to register hers. So we basically just had a Lost in Translation via phone lines.

I haven't packed! How?
